Last time, all the kids had birthdays and we had to say goodbye to Jack.
Not even a day out of the house and Jack is already calling Ivory.
Waiting to be greeted, Cumulus Pearl (no relation to Jack) waits outside.
Ivory: You know, you didn’t actually need to wait outside in the rain.
Cumulus: That’s okay. I was not ready to set foot in the house yet.
Upstairs, the triplets were keeping out of the way. Rose and Hyacinth have just completed the block table and Lotus was probably talking to random strangers on the computer.
Rose also has a habit of walking around scowling for no reason at all. Especially at herself apparently. Then I remembered that she has the grumpy trait.
The older twins were downstairs eating and getting ready to meet the new member of the household.
Ivory brought Cumulus in from the rain and chatted for a bit before winking at him. It went better than expected.
Well, Ivory is on the right track.
Cumulus: Back off, Hussy. You’re moving too fast for me.
Uh oh. It’s okay to wink, but not to blow a kiss.
Well, now they both have the creeped out moodlet. Time to separate them.
Did you just far—
Cumulus: No! Whoopie cushion.
The culprit was a few feet away reading. I swear that prank had been there for at least a week.
Cumulus: Why must I live with these animals?
Poor Cumulus was mortified and even moved to a different spot to watch tv.
RB kept up her grumpy face all through the house until she showed me what the issue was. Ew.
Cumulus: So, you have no issues with the challenge your mother is undertaking?
Azure: Considering it started before I was born and I am close to moving out, then no.
Cumulus: I hope to get to know you all better before starting to make the babies though.
After seeing the state of the bathroom, Ivory cleans the rest of the house while waiting for the moodlet timer to run out.
Cumulus: I am completely mortified about that prank you set. Don’t do it again.
RB: I’m not watching the same crap as them. Change it!
RB: Much better.
RB: See, isn’t this a better channel? Say it is. Now!
Azure: Oh yes. This so soooo much better. See my grin?
RB: It looks fake, Azzz.
Azure: Don’t call me that, buttface.
Cumulus; Oh yes! This is the best channel I have ever seen.
RB: You’re laying it on a bit thick, ain’tcha?
Cumulus: Did you think so? I thought it was pretty tame.
RB: No, you look lame. Tone it down a bit, really.
Cumulus: *sigh* Fine. I was just trying to fit in.
Not sure what these two were talking about. I can only assume it was about all the empty cribs.
Oh shit! It’s such bad form to complain about a man to your child. Ivory, knock it off!
Ivory: I will complain about who I want, when I want and with whoever I want!
Cumulus: How dare she complain about me to that boy! I’ll turn that bitch into a frog. Mark my words!
Isn’t he adorable? I had not realized he was a witch.
He’s also a bit confused.
Cumulus: No I’m not. I’ll turn her into a frog after I use that pick up line!
I felt that we should hurry this along before war broke out.
Cumulus: I’ll be back to try again later.
Ivory: I’ll set up a bedroom for you upstairs.
Cumulus: I think that’s for the best.
We finally have a reason to get relief from all that stinkin’ pink. Thank you, Cumulus, for liking green! His move in money was spent on his room. It’s the same bed and other furnishings as in Ivory’s room, so he didn’t feel excluded.
The official Daddy card.
After Cumulus got his new room, I found Cinder reading Rose to sleep.
Cinder: Hello, mommy!
Ivory: Hello, favorite daughter!
You’re not supposed to have favorites.
Rose: What? She can’t be the favorite! I am!
Why aren’t you in bed?
Rose: She called us all to eat. So here I am.
Ohhh, so that’s the way the wind blows.
Cumulus *blush*: She’s too young to do that.
I didn’t mean that! You have a dirty mind!
Cinder: You know, I can easily sneak into your bed tonight.
Cumulus: Whaa? Noo!
Cinder: Oh c’mon, it’ll be fun!
Azure: If we don’t end up on Jerry Springer, I’ll just write a tell-all book about this. Talk about a messed up family.
The very minute that everyone else finally goes to bed (at 1am) Hyacinth, followed soon after by Lotus, get up for the day. I think they both went to bed at like 7pm.
Cinder went to bed after completing a new painting for the nursery.
I really like Berry’s teen wall, so I copied it. Blatantly.
Cinder keeps wanting to raise her social influence, she buys her way up the nerd and jock ladder. It soon paid off. I have decided that whatever traits are in that spot, have to be kept. LOL LIke she needs this one.
I guess their hunger woke them up.
The two spent the rest of the night watching Cookin’ Cable.
Lotus: OMG. I forgot to do my homework!
Hyacinth: It’s only Sunday, Lo. Wait! Homework? I don’t have homework yet!
Neither does Rose for that matter.
I got a bit distracted by Ivory zooming through the house. Baby incoming!
No one has anything pressing to do, so they all read while Lotus does her homework.
Cumulus finally gets up his nerve and uses the pick up line wish up. Ivory, is receptive, but she is a bit leery about getting too flirty with him and heads off to vomit. Again.
Cumulus and Lotus spend the rest of the morning pillow fighting. It doesn’t end well.
Hyacinth: Daddy, I miss you.
Jack: How’s the new guy? Does mommy like him?
Hyacinth: He’s okay so far. He likes to play with us. He and mommy had a rough start, but I saw her puking earlier, so I guess things got better after we all went to bed.
Jack: I guess that’s good.
Hyacinth: She misses you, I know that.
Azure: Hi, Dad!
Jack: Hey, it’s my favorite son!
Azure: I’m your only son!
Jack: Which is why you’re my favorite one. It’s good to hear from you!
Azure: I actually had another reason to call.
Jack: Is something wrong? Are the girls okay?
Azure: Oh, no! Everyone is fine. Mom is pregnant and we think it will be multiples again. Me and Cinder want to know if we can move in with you today.
Jack: I think we should discuss this with your mother first.
Ivory: You really only called to discuss the twins?
Jack: Ivory, when your part of the challenge is done, I’ll be waiting for you. But right now, the twins want to come live here and I am fine with that if you are.
Ivory: I guess it’s okay with me too.
Jack: Also, Lotus is upset about something, but she won’t say what the problem is. She wants to come live here too.
Ivory: What? I will get to the bottom of that today. I love you.
Jack: I love you too.
It took all day, but Ivory and Cumulus finally started getting somewhere in the romance department.
Even if it was just to get a digital slideshow of daddies going.
After all the phone calls were done, Jack started calling everyone back. It was too adorable.
Ivory: I wish you and your brother had talked to me about this beforehand, but I guess it’s okay if you two move in with your dad.
Cinder: Thanks, mom!
Lotus: I thought I was going with you.
Azure: Not right now. Mom said maybe after your birthday.
Ivory and Cumulus celebrate the smaller household.
Lotus and Cumulus don’t like each other one bit. They keep pillow fighting and Lotus always gets hurt and upset.
It’s Sunday, so I thought the girls deserved a treat. I just got tired of 100’s of, “I want to come out,” notifications. The minute the girls go to bed, they will be back in their inventories.
The family is broke again. Cumulus got the most expensive wand and an alchemy station. The triplets got a second easel and a potion table.
Most importantly, they got a new playground.
The girls spent the first day of winter enjoying the almost 50 degree weather outside on the swings.
Ivory was inside making lunch.
While Cumulus was checking out his new wand.
We interrupt lunch for Cumulus to leap at Ivory.
One day they will have a real family meal. Rose was eating cake while Ivory cooked, so she went up to use the potion table.
The girls all got lucky. None of the IF’s have seriously bad traits. I think one is a couch potato and that was the worst trait. They haven’t been too annoying yet either.
Hyacinth’s turn at the potion table did not go well at all.
I’m pretty sure they are going to wear out the bed springs at this rate.
As the first snow starts falling, Ivory (finally) pops with her next pregnancy.
What a rough start! They were both highly attracted to each other, but Ivory blowing that kiss really killed all progress towards friendship. It took the rest of the weekend to build it back up and luckily it went better the second time around.
Ivory has a 200% chance of twins and 100% chance of triplets, so we really had to make room, which is why Cinder and Azure moved out early.
Sorry for the delay in posts. I am sort of alternating between Fallout 4 and Destiny right now, with a dash of Dragon Age Inquisition (my 5th playthrough).
